The Bogarst's Bitter got its name due to a spelling mistake. Jerry Thomas published his first cocktail book with different cocktail recipes in 1862. Instead of the "Boker's Bitter", Jerry listed the "Bogart's Bitter" in the recipes. A spelling mistake that made him even more famous! The story goes that fortunately they found an open Boker's Bitter bottle with the original label and some content to make a replica of the so-called "Bogart's Bitter".Tasting notes:Colour: dark brown.
