Tasting notes:Dark ruby with black core and violet rim brightening in the glass. Very fruity nose of cherries, blackberries, plums, orange zest, dried plums and cranberries. Aromas of eucalyptus, cloves and cinnamon are in the background. Very elegant and dense on the palate, with a pleasant acid structure. Notes of black cherries, figs, roasted plums, figs, herbs and a hint of mint unfold here. The finish is long, juicy and dense. Grape variety: 100% Zweigelt. Soil: Loamy sand with a high percentage of gravel. Aging: 24 months in small oak barrels. Acidity: 4,7 g/l. Residual sugar: 2,2 g/l. Bottling: August 2020. Drinking temperature: 16-18°C. Storage potential: Until 2030. This wine is excellent with calf's liver, white meat and dark sauces.
